QR codes

QR codes are a quick way to allow mobile devices to go to a specific link or perform a specific task. In this scheme we use them to find out which signs in the park you have walked past to calculate your total distance.

How do I scan a QR Code?

You can scan QR codes using the vast majority of smart phones with inbuilt cameras.

For most modern Apple and Android phones you simply need to open the camera app and point your camera at the QR code on the sign. This will pop up a message asking if you wish to follow the link. Depending on your phone you may need to press the QR code reader button within your camera app.
